  Tackling the future lecture series: cross-field inventions in cybersecurity

  This lecture series is for patent professionals seeking to gain deeper insight into the challenges faced when patenting cross-field inventions that combine technologies from several different fields.

  In this joint lecture, experts in the field will discuss patenting of inventions in the field of cyber security which make use of Artificial Intelligence for protecting Information Systems or counter new threats posed by Artificial Intelligence used to mount novel attacks. An overview of the intersections between Artificial Intelligence and cyber security will be given together with the latest trends in patenting in the area of cyber security. In a concrete example, the patenting of such cross-field application will be studied.
